water fluoridation in UK - the real risks to young and old

The FLUORIDE ACTION NETWORK is busy educating the populace on the danger of Fluoridation of drinking (i.e. tap) water. Already, 10% of the UK (mainly the West Midlands and North East) receives fluoridated water. Other areas targeted for fluoridation the North West, Merseyside, Yorkshire, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland. Tap water in Southampton is to be fluoridated.

Dr. Vyvyan Howard, President, International Society of Doctors for the Environment.

* Almost all of western Europe has rejected water fluoridation.
* Fluoride's primary 'benefits' are topical, not systemic. There is no need to swallow fluoride.
* Children are receiving too much fluoride today. There is a need to reduce, not increase, current exposures.
* A growing body of evidence indicates that water fluoridation is ineffective and unnecessary.
* The fluoride chemical added to water is an unprocessed, industrial waste-product from the pollution scrubbers of the phosphate fertilizer industry.
* Just as fluoride can damage cells in developing teeth, fluoride can damage cells in other organs as well.
* Two-thirds of US communities, when given the chance to vote, have voted against fluoridation. Over 70 US communities have rejected water fluoridation since 1999.

Please don't let a few lazy parents family tooth brushing deficiencies adversely affect the lives of our babies and elderly.

THE POLICE ARE OUR PUBLIC SERVANTS - we are not their punch bags

I'm finding it hard to express how REALLY FUCKING ANGRY THIS IS MAKING ME NOW. Not only are the SPINELESS FUCKS of Government on either side of the Atlantic gradually stripping away each and every one of the civil rights our grandfathers fought in world wars for, not only are our grandchildren being taxed 20 x more than they can possibly pay back to keep some fake Capitalism chuntering along like a broken old man with rickets, not only is it a FUCKING OFFENSE to photograph the police in public but this atrocity against a 15 year old girl:

Surveillance video released in an assault case against a King County, Wash. sheriff’s deputy shows him kicking a young girl, slamming her to the jail cell floor and striking her repeatedly. This FUCKING SCUMBAG has pleaded not guilty . He picks her up from the floor by HER FUCKING HAIR after the vicious assault.

Man, I'm so angry now. And so should you be.

Liberal Democrats - Chris Huhne introduces the Freedom Bill

As George W Bush and Tony Blair's faked War Of Terror allowed for such state control in the first place, every person in their right mind will support this bill, in fact (as Liberal Democrats Chris Huhne's bill states) we should repeal all surveillance/terror laws instantly.

Give people back their liberty.

I don't necessarily care which party gets in as long as it results in a TOTALLY TRANSPARENT and INTERACTIVE government where We The People matter. A bill like this needs our full support as a wrongly-imprisoned populace:

THE FREEDOM BILL
standing up for our civil liberties
SIGN THE PETITION

There has always been a problem for civil libertarians. The sacrifices of freedoms made by successive governments often seem small, particularly when they are pushed through at times of panic about terrorism. Each time, the government argues that you only need to give up a modest amount of freedom or rights to win greater security. And what could be more free than life itself? Yet the cumulative effects of this salami-slicing have now become deeply corrosive to the free spirit of a civil society. Like some sci-fi horror movie, we are slowly becoming the authoritarian threat that we are fighting.

The Liberal Democrats are determined to resist the slow death by a thousand cuts of our hard-won British liberties. George Orwell's Nineteen Eighty-Four was a warning, not a blueprint. Yet the Big Brother society that he satirised is growing before our eyes. Our forebears who fought so hard for the rights we have had stripped away would be shocked at what we've lost.

That is why we have published our freedom bill, detailing how we intend to roll back the draconian laws passed by successive Labour and Conservative administrations. This draft bill is the first time a major political party has brought all of the laws which have undermined civil liberties together in one piece of legislation so that they can be easily repealed. We have called it the freedom bill because if the measures within it were all repealed, it would represent the greatest victory for freedom in Britain in the last 20 years.

This is not intended to be an exhaustive list of all the freedoms that have been lost in recent years. Sadly, there are too many. It is intended to be a starting point – to show people how much personal liberty has been stripped away by this government and the one before it. The freedom bill and the corresponding website is a consultative document designed to start a real dialogue, and give impetus to a movement that will lead to legislation soon after the next general election.

Our first draft of the freedom bill contains 20 measures to restore the fundamental rights that have been stripped away in recent years. We would:

• Scrap ID cards for everyone, including foreign nationals.

• Ensure that there are no restrictions in the right to trial by jury for serious offences including fraud.

• Restore the right to protest in Parliament Square, at the heart of our democracy.

• Abolish the flawed control orders regime.

• Renegotiate the unfair extradition treaty with the United States.

• Restore the right to public assembly for more than two people.

• Scrap the ContactPoint database of all children in Britain.

• Strengthen freedom of information by giving greater powers to the information commissioner and reducing exemptions.

• Stop criminalising trespass.

• Restore the public interest defence for whistleblowers.

• Prevent allegations of "bad character" from being used in court.

• Restore the right to silence when accused in court.

• Prevent bailiffs from using force.

• Restrict the use of surveillance powers to the investigation of serious crimes and stop councils snooping.

• Restore the principle of double jeopardy in UK law.

• Remove innocent people from the DNA database.

• Reduce the maximum period of pre-charge detention to 14 days.

• Scrap the ministerial veto that allowed the government to block the release of cabinet minutes relating to the Iraq war.

• Require explicit parental consent for biometric information to be taken from children.

• Regulate CCTV following a Royal Commission on cameras.

With luck, our freedom bill can act as a focus for civil libertarians of all parties and none in the run-up to the general election. The aim must be to change the terms of the public debate so that we can put out a clear challenge to those who run for parliament: will you back the freedom bill? We must understand how important to a free society and fulfilled individuals are privacy, freedom and the rule of law. It is time to roll back the intrusion of the surveillance state.

Global UFO Disclosure 2009 - revealed

...when Mexican or Canadian or Belgian or Russian military release this stuff to the public domain, indirectly via organisations like UFO Disclosure or directly like The Larry King Show, one has to be skeptical.

This 1/4 scale prototype of the Lockheed-Martin "Skunk Works" P791 LTA ACLS is by far my favourite U.F.O.-like thing in the sky - imagine the sun glimmering off this strange thing at altitude. It's quite dynamic too. Take off and leanding are enhanced by four feet that can blow or suck. Nice.

and if they can make them manoeuvrable in this shape/configuration, why not a superlong cigar shaped version for Homeland Security surveillance? Despite Fox's 'is it a UFO' idiocy:

Or even better, these guys - who've been in the UFO building business for nearly a century:

THE AEREON CORPORATION
AEREON III (designed and built in 1959-1965) was a hybrid containing helium cells in three joined hulls which formed a rectangular wing/body, just like Lockheed's P-791. It was the first rigid airship built since the Zeppelins of the 1930’s. It was runway-tested before being dismantled in 1967. The triple-hull had been state-of-the-art, dating from the 1860’s when AEREON I was built and flown over Manhattan with passengers. The inventor, Dr. Solomon Andrews of New Jersey, coined the name, which means “AIR AGE,” because he saw that being able to fly into the wind, in this balloon, meant air transportation would be possible. He formed the first U. S. air transportation company, whose motto was: “Time flies; why not man?” President Lincoln intended demonstration flights in Washington and asked the Army to investigate it to shorten the Civil War. His assassination ended that prospect. Dr. Andrews eventually gave his patents to the nations of the world to benefit humanity.

Aereon Corporation's massive triangular or DELTOID AEROBODY design is the spitting image of so many big silent ufos that have been spotted of late:

If we don't take the mainstream UFO Phenomenon with a big pinch of salt, our freedom itself is at risk. Sorry, but that's a fact. Believe the State Aired Propaganda at your peril lovers of liberty, truth and justice.

Deadgirl - Marcel Sarmien - Gadi Harel

From the producer of 'Hellraiser' and 'Heathers' (two of my all-time favourite films) comes 'Deadgirl' the new (and highly controversial) film from directors Marcel Sarmien and Gadi Harel about two young men who discover a dead girl. Yeah, it's all in the sub-text. Here's what gore site Twitch had to say:

Deadgirl obviously, is going to get tongues wagging. It is explicitly violent, filled with bursts of shocking gore, and equally explicit sexually. Is this what coming of age looks like in our commodified times, when we think of everything - people included - as objects to be consumed and disposed of at will? This is objectification of women pushed out to ludicrous, though frighteningly plausible, extremes. Like it or not we all know people who would choose JT’s path, we probably wouldn’t even have to think very hard to make a list of them, and that’s where the film’s true horror lies. As shocking as this is, as far fetched as the premise, on an emotional level it is entirely plausible.

For those who're interested in 'that sorta cinema' there was a French film about two scallywags who STOLE a dead girl from the morgue, Lune Froide (1991). Now that was a totally different kettle of fish, both intriguing and revolting. Deadgirl seems to be conscientiously fishing for the undead-horror-babe-shock-gore-athon audience, and there are a lot of us alternative cinema nuts out there who really dig that shit. Needed saying.

Today is Webster Griffin Tarpley day

this is the fourth in my arbitrary series of features of 'people you may never have heard of, but really should have' continues with Government critic Webster Griffin Tarpley who penned the books 911 Synthetic Terrorism, Bush: Unauthorized Bio and Obama: The Post-Modern Coup. The thing that really excites me about Tarpley is his dogged determination to get to the truth about 9/11 (that's the levelling of three of the seven World Trade Centre buildings on September 11, 2001).

Watch, listen and learn.

911 and "Angel is next"

The men behind Barack Obama - Part 1/2

Hoover Economics: part 1/8

The 9/11 Issue: Key to stopping World War III

This is the way TV should be; brave, uncompromising, journalistic.

Paul Debevec from Fiat Lux to The Parthenon

I've been watching (and been intrigued by) the image-based and high-dynamic range lighting research of scientist Paul Debevec for nigh on ten years and (searching my own blog) I see there's not a single entry about the man. First some bio, then two films:

Paul Debevec leads the Graphics Laboratory at the University of Southern California's Institute for Creative Technologies and is a Research Associate Professor in the USC Computer Science Department. He earned degrees in Math and Computer Engineering at the University of Michigan in 1992 and a Ph.D. in Computer Science from UC Berkeley in 1996. He began combining research in computer vision and computer graphics in 1991 by three-dimensionally modeling and rendering his Chevette automobile from photographs. At Interval Research Corporation he contributed to Michael Naimark's Immersion '94 virtual exploration of Banff National forest and collaborated with Golan Levin on the interactive art installation Rouen Revisited.

Debevec's Ph.D. thesis under Prof. Jitendra Malik presented Façade, an image-based modeling system for creating virtual cinematography of architectural scenes using new techniques for photogrammetry and image-based rendering. Using Façade he directed a photorealistic fly-around of the Berkeley campus for his 1997 film The Campanile Movie whose techniques were later used to create the Academy Award-winning virtual backgrounds in the "bullet time" shots in the 1999 film The Matrix.

FIAT LUX 1998:

THE PARTHENON 2004:

Before you ask, they're both rendered videos. See more of Paul Debevec's up-to-date research and how he achieved these amazing simulations at his website.

Viktor Grebennikov's Flying Platform - Bio-Gravitics - chitin

Whilst doing some research on the Vorsprung Durch Tecknik of Adolf Hitler's NAZI UFO fleet, I grazed across to this very entertaining presentation about Russian entomologist and artist Viktor Grebennikov's Flying Platform. Yes, a Flying Platform. Here's Grebennikov (himself) using his Flying Platform:

I know it looks like some rubbish Photoshop 'false shadow' job or some even worse 'man jumping while his shoes are glued to a wooden platform' stunt BUT apparently it's all due to the Cavity Structures Effect (CSE). Here's alternative energy researcher Jerry Decker explaining all in this (as has already been mentioned) highly entertaining presentation video:

I'm not suggesting there could have been hundreds of thousands of insect wings glued under these NAZI UFOs but one never knows. Even television seems like science fiction if you don't know how it works.

Aptera 2e Electric Car - 2011 liquidation

when I was a lad (oh, thirty years ago) I really wanted a sexy electric car just like this. Now, my love for sexy little electric cars have been reignited. I fuckin' love it. A practical car you can buy soon, charge up and drive away. Oh, yeah.

It even has solar panels to help with the air-con. Classic.

2012 UPDATE: while searching for the latest on Aptera, I discovered that, "On December 2, 2011, Aptera went into chapter 7 liquidation."

Ex-MI5 Boss: 'Govt Exploits Terrorism Fear'

Former MI5 boss Dame Stella Rimington has accused the UK Government of exploiting people's fear of terrorism to restrict civil liberties.

Wreck of a double-decker bus in Tavistock Square after the July 7, 2005, London terror attacks
She said ministers risked handing a victory to terrorists by making people "live in fear and under a police state".

[read the full story on SkyNews]

Editorial comment: as has been pointed out many times on this blog, it's looking like events such as 9/11 and 7/7 have certainly allowed our respective governments to bring in legislation that makes our countries look more and more like Police states. And now the deadline has passed to take photographs of the police (or even undercover secret agents), no matter what they're doing. Rodney King-like or Bart Station-like hit jobs will now continue as planned with no recourse from Joe Sheeple, the flocking passer-by.

Additionally: yesterday was the last day you can LEGALLY take a photo of the police, photographers protested outside Scotland Yard over new anti-terror law. Here's a special photo report.

PS3 - PSN - Flower - thatgamecompany

Every now and then, some new life will sprout through the monochromatic Terminator 2 landscape of skulls under mechanoid tractor tracks that the corporate 3D games industry has become. In this case it's the seemingly-Al-Gore-friendly Flower from thatgamecompany, the Santa Monica operation behind FLOW and CLOUD, also available for download via PlayStation Network.

Though there's discussion on the net whether you end up cleaning up and re-naturising the city streets, what happens is you start the game in an apartment day-dreaming about your measly little flower in its pot, then....

Flower (a PSN download title) shows what you really can do with a bit of love and parallel coding prowess. I love the way this Official Trailer has Donovan's Catch the Wind on it.

Mitch Phillips - Rachael Kozark aka Hecate - Suzzan Blac - Friday 13th London

Well, it all came together, on Friday the 13th. I met up with Mitch Phillips, esteemed artist who illustrated my 2004 Double Dragon Press short story collection "Animal Instincts". We then proceeded on to meet Rachael Kozark aka Hecate and gore artist Suzzan Blac - there's video and it's very cinema verite, hand-held, no set ups, no punches pulled - all good stuff. First off, here's a shot of happy Mitch at Piccadilly Circus at around 4 p.m. on the day and his happy illustrations for my 2004 collection.

At the Salmon & Ball pub in Bethnall Green, we met up with one of my favourite performing artists HECATE aka Rachael Kozark who'd dragged with her a big black box on wheels of all her records for that night's gig over at Slime Light in Angel. She was performing at 2:30 a.m. - now that's the crazy life. She gave me a copy of her CD "Treachery" and I gave her the copy of "Bukkakeworld" that hadn't reached her Berlin address and got sent back to me via Denmark(!). Hecate was clearly doing something Satanic to the ether as most of the photos of her didn't come out (the one shown is really the best one) but the video life is a 24/7 interview was nice and clear.

Our dizzy little trio headed off to the Resistance Gallery, just up the road in Poyser Street, where gore artist Suzzan Blac was having her first solo show. A surprisingly restrained series of doll-themed paintings (compared to her usual no-holds-barred human-pain imagery, which I love) but very distinctive and well worth meeting up with the artist for another quick interview - please excuse my Amadeus-like high-pitched giggle early on.

Both Suzzan Blac and Rachael Kozark aka Hecate are strong, creative women and that's (surely) what makes the world a better place. Great fun and thanks to all who allowed me to invade their space. Great to meet up with you again, Mitch.

Bob Lazar - Two Forms of Gravity - quark matter

Alleged Area 51 employee (well, for five months) Bob Lazar says TWO FORMS OF GRAVITY, the subatomic kind that keeps atoms together and the macroscopic kind that keeps galaxies together, are needed for the sport model UFO's propulsion system to work...

And he's right.

Well, he's partly right. He's just confused about the terms micro-gravity and macro-gravity. THE WHOLE UNIVERSE runs on the principal of gravity, not matter. Matter (I guess clockwise and anti-clockwise spacetime turbulence would be a more accurate term) is a cyclic exhaust gas of this gravity engine. And this gravity is extra-dimensional. Look, you're right, I'm no technical guru, so fuck you, but isn't it evident from certain acknowledged scientific phenomena (light, for example) that we can describe the universe in terms of GRAVITY SETTLING A DEBT. Yes, you heard me correctly, light is a chimeric by-product of Universal Equilibrium, light doesn't really exist as such, it's an illusion. Gravity is just too big to be constrained within the sub-atomic, so let's stop talking nonsense and wake up to the reality of the universe.

It's been a while since I chit-chatted about my Hertzan Chimera unit theory but seeing Bob Lazar (either you believe him or you don't) talk about his time working on (ahem) alien technology gave me the old HC Unit-nostalgia goose bumps.

Bob's nearly right about his strong and weak gravity needed to drive the alien craft. But it's all the same Universal Equilibrium mechanism at work. In the galactic flavour, the HC Unit regulates the flow of spacetime through it's spinny mechanism, any excess of momentum spills into OUR UNIVERSE and achieves some plateau until the 'fabric and properties of the universe' settle the debt, filling in quanta by quanta in towards the HC Unit.

This is how we see light emiting from an atom. It's the universe moving towards a point. Now that's a lot more spectacular than a fucking photonic release - oh, look a big photon. NO, we're talking the entire item of universeness, it's unity, moving to a single point. Can you even understand how fundamentally relativistic this is? When we 'see' something, we're experiencing the universe moving away from us at the speed of light!

On the subatomic scale, this Universal Equilibrium takes place ninety degrees out of phase for each nearby HC Unit in a constructive/destructive resonance fashion. The excess has no time to generate a em radiation component where the universe 'falls in', because it is syphoned into the neighbouring HC Unit. Closing the em radiation loop.

This way, all atoms can be described as single 'loops of HC Units feeding each other'. They're mono-dimensional. Point objects, just like real atoms. And they have excess resonance based on the number of constructive/destructive phases in their layout. They have net charge.

The real mystery is the HC Unit that needs a constant frequency of clockwise/anticlockwise turbulence to link up with its four neighbours to produce a ZERO NET CHARGE atom like Neon. I once thought that all HC Units had the same frequency, but maybe there are many sorts of HC Unit all with different frequencies that 'pair up' and then 'tri up' and then.... you get the idea. Actually, four was the wrong number for Neon, it's twelve, because each 'hydrogen atom' within the 'neon atom' is made up of three HC Units. Populist Science calls them Quarks.

Four-Quark is what I contend Dark Matter is because it can never break the HC4 loop - it's an valency dead zone, a sealed unit. Invisible from all measurement.

PS: ON THE SUBJECT OF ALIENS COMING THROUGH THE WALL:
of course aliens will come in through the wall. Why do you think you don't see aliens coming through thin air? There's nothing there to TRANSPORT THEM. That's why the sphere transporter of Terminator 2 was soooooooooo wrong. You need something at 'their end' that'll allow for swapping of HC Units so they can be transported, 'atom by atom' to the new world. You also have to be aware of the 'direction of gravity' for the destination so you don't end up transporting yourself into a death drop or something. I wonder when the aliens (or humans from the future) first worked out that there's a FLOOR adjacent to every wall? Hey, this is now looking like aliens are more Mimzy future humans but that's a whole 'nother post...

VIAGRA - CITIBANK - NIKE - GAEL BERNAT - Robert Standish 2009

On the day that Barrack Obama becomes yet another in a long line of White House puppets hamstrung by the greed and avarice of the money men, the banks and the global corporation, photorealist painter Robert Standish uploads a brand new painting - yes, this is a painting. It doesn't actually say, "Barrack Obama is a corporate ho." but (for me) it might as well.

Robert allowed me to use one of his 'girl in a milky bath' photos for the cover of my anti-corporate-horror novel Bukkakeworld and for that I'm extremely grateful.

I adored the Photorealist Movement of the 196o's/70's and Robert Standish is a visionary contemporary exponent of the art - amazingly, he's totally self-taught. Robert paints life on the hard side of the street in his home town of Los Angeles.

I asked Robert via email about the obvious TRICHOTOMY in his work: the abstract Neon, the street-tough Girls and the sordid Streetlife?

Robert's response:
The trichotomy you have mentioned is probably only connected in my own mind. At the beginning, middle and end of each day I'm pretty much asking the same questions in relation to my everyday experiences .. "if God exists what is this"?,"is this God" or "what is God"? and "what is the God I should believe in"? some days I feel great with my beliefs and answers and other days not so great.

I then asked Robert about which aspect of the TRICHOTOMY he finds most inspiring:

Robert's response:
I'm drawn to the blurred light series (they are mostly the brake lights from cars) from the notion that they represent mysterious rhythms and patterns in a world of their own, a secret dance that until captured and painted would otherwise be considered mundane... possibly just a negative connotation to the frustrations of traffic. The sordid types depicted in my paintings (prostitutes, hustlers) have a broader or more focused meaning for me than they did when I first was working with that subject matter. Over the last couple of years I have added corporate logos to the work. The sordid individuals and the corporations are representations of my dual selves and anyone in society experiencing extreme capitalism fallout.

Robert Standish is a rising star in the art world and it was very kind of him to allow me to share his feelings about his work. And look at this for a studio.

Feb 3 2009 update: Here is Robert being videod painting Gael Bernal for the cover of FLAUNT magazine.

We are all one - Saving the planet - in memory of Bill Hicks

it's just like the late great comedian Bill Hicks said, "If you wanna save the planet, KILL YOURSELVES. The Earth will go on fine without you." Now that's a (truthful but) rather blunt approach to saving the planet. So, I'll let Anders Fredblad put the message across in a more compassionate form:

Speaker: Indigenous Native American Prophecy, Oren Lyons. Oren R.

Video clip: (Planet Earth) Award-winning BBC nature documentary series narrated by David Attenborough and produced by Alastair Fothergill.

Soundtrack: From the movie Patch Adams. Contains Music by Various Artists, Marc Shaiman.

Philip K Dick - The Divine Invasion - morning star and egyptian gods

As a big fan of the books of Philip K Dick, I've reviewed a number of his novels for various sites around the world. I've been looking for a particular book called "The Divine Invasion" for a couple of years. It's been out of print. It's not available in my country. Etc. Etc...

Alex Jones was interviewing supernatural researcher Jordan Maxwell last week and at some point Jordan exposed that he's been pestered by major imagery in Hollywood films for the last 50 years. He eventually agreed with Alex and said the name "Morning Star". It sounds like a Rising Sun type cult. I hadn't heard of it. I tried to do some research, asking a few online friends who are into that side of 'reality'. Someone mentioned Crowley.

A day or so later, there it was. The PKD book, "The Divine Invasion". A brand-new Voyager edition. It's about the real God returning from space to battle a false God resident on Earth since the death of Christ. And from an atheist perspective, you can just read the wonderfully convoluted time-and-space story, you can just enjoy the literary ride.

Then late in the book the major criminal was named ... wait for it ... MORNING STAR.

Last night I dreamt of an Anthony Gormley room full of Native-American clay-hand-sculptures. The majority of them were Anubis (two overlaid hands making a jackal head). Their leader was Horus (two hands side-by-side making an owl head, thumbs the beak). The Anubis hands held a slave down while Horus 'interrogated' them. This has concrete resonance with my Silverthought novel "Planet of the Owls" book.

Anyway, "The Divine Invasion" review will appear on Scene360 in due course.

Bill Hicks is REBORN - the BANNED David Letterman Show appearance

It is with great joy that I can share the news that The David Letterman Show has FINALLY aired the CENSORED footage from Bill Hicks what-would-have-been. Here, in three parts, Letterman chit-chats with Bill's mother Mary Hicks. She's still a strong woman. She was always Bill's mommy. And you really can hear Hicks' verbal delivery in his mom's voice. It's eerie.

It's in three parts but Part 3 is the important part for all the HicksHeads. Bill is reborn. His credo has finally been heard, on National TV. Wake up the sheeple, dead friend. Fellow Truther.
