Free Planet - we borrow it from our Children.

this post is gonna be a series of proverbs about You The People and how you've lost your way as your mind has been controlled from birth by the great big CORPORATE WAR MACHINE that makes you work like a dog and spill consumerist poison all over this beautiful planet.

I'm open to the possibility but I don't (today) believe in or condone Mother Earth or Gaia allusions of spirituality to this planet but that in no way affects how I feel about the ridiculous way so-called evolved human beings in the form of their representative corporations are shitting all over this world and its people. THIS MUST END, this raping of our planet in the name of PROFIT.

"Leave it better than you found it," that's the phrase that got me going on this post and you know who you are, thanks for the inspiration. It also goes back to a comment that was left in the Reclaim Your Planet post, "Does the earth need currency." Well, of course, the answer is, "The earth does fine without currency." So now, what do you do? You have no currency. You have no job. You have no arbitrary government.

Welcome to the real world, you can now start to make a real difference to Free Planet.

"Only when the last tree has died and the last river been poisoned and the last fish been caught will we realise we cannot eat money." Cree Indian Proverb.

"We did not ask you white men to come here. The Great Spirit gave us this country as a home. You had yours. We did not interfere with you. The Great Spirit gave us plenty of land to live on, and buffalo, deer, antelope and other game. But you have come here; you are taking my land from me; you are killing off our game, so it is hard for us to live. Now, you tell us to work for a living, but the Great Spirit did not make us to work, but to live by hunting. You white men can work if you want to. We do not interfere with you, and again you say why do you not become civilized? We do not want your civilization! We would live as our fathers did, and their fathers before them." Crazy Horse Tashunca-uitco (1849-1877).

"There are no passengers on spaceship earth. We’re all crew." Marshall McLuhan

"I'd like to share a revelation that I've had during my time here. It came to me when I tried to classify your species. I realized that you humans are not actually mammals. Every mammal on this planet instinctively develops a natural equilibrium with the surrounding environment, but you humans do not. You move to an area, and you multiply and multiply, until every natural resource is consumed. The only way you can survive is to spread to another area. There is another organism on this planet that follows the same pattern. Do you know what it is? A virus. Human beings are a disease, a cancer of this planet." Agent Smith in The Matrix.

"When we show our respect for other living things, they respond with respect for us." - Arapaho

"After one look at this planet any visitor from outer space would say "I want to see the manager"." William S. Burroughs.

"Treat the earth well: it was not given to you by your parents, it was loaned to you by your children. We do not inherit the Earth from our Ancestors, we borrow it from our Children." Native American proverb.

Yeah, leave it better than you found it - your children want their planet returned to them in good working order. In fact, they want more than that, they want a BETTER WORLD for their children, that's the way it works here. They want their children to live on a healthy, sustainable world where diversity of life is paramount, people share the land and corporations don't lazily benefit from your labour; your blood, your sweat and your tears.

Why don't you get that?
